Judging with all he has accomplished and his companies, he is undoubtedly considered as one of the most successful investors in the world, and has a net worth of 87.5billion dollars as of February 17, 2018, which might have increased now, making him the third wealthiest person in the United States and also in the world.

Warren Buffet was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He started developing interest in inventing and business in his youth, ultimately entering the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania way back in 1947 before graduating from University of Nebraska at age 19. He went further to graduate from Columbia Business School, where he shaped his investment philosophy around the theory of value investing that was tenanted by Benjamin Graham.
He fabricated the Buffet Partnership after meeting Charlie Munger, and his company ultimately obtained a textile manufacturing firm called Berkshire Hathaway and presumed its name to create a diversified holding company.

Basically, his story is well told. Warren Buffet became an active player in the investment game at the age of 11, ultimately using money he earned from his paper route to purchase some farmland in his home state. As a high school graduate, he also reaped the rewards of a flourishing pinball machine business.
By the time Buffet was 15 years old, he already had a net worth of about $6,000, WOW! At that moment, Warren Buffet invested in companies and in insurance business, but most importantly - he used as much free money as possible from insurance premiums to implement leverage and increase his wealth.

What then is the leverage? Well, it’s a part of the borrowed cash that enlarge the investing power. For instance, you invest $100 in a stock that returns 10% - then you get $10, isn't it? All the same, if you use a 2:1 leverage and invest $200 ($100 your money + $100 the money you borrowed), then the complete benefit per investment is $220 and you get $20 net profit (and give back $100).
With 2:1, you can double or triple your net profit. If Warren Buffet didn't use leverage, he would apparently have half of his wealth or maybe less.
