It takes time to know if someone has turned a new leave, don't be deceived.
So many times we get caught in the web of the things that once broke us just because we fail to pay attention to the signs once again. Don't fall for the trap when you receive a text from someone who never valued your relationship with them, all of a sudden wants you back in their lives and claim to be deeply sorry for their mistakes and promise you heaven and Earth if you take them back.
At times people envy the progress you are making in your life without them and it hurts them badly to witness the successful life you now live without them in the picture. They look for a means to distract you and possibly, bring you back to that old room which you managed escaping. They send you apology messages, call you and might even send people you love to win you over. Don't fall for this trap because if you do, you might end up a hudred times miserable and might not escape from them this time or even if you do, your life might not remain the same again.

Humans do not just change in a second and complete change isn't noticed with just words but consistency of how those words walk in accordance with their actions over a period of time. Monitor closely if they are genuine or just acting up to lure you into destruction. If you feel you want them back in your life, observe closely, listen to your instincts, pay attention to actions rather than words and reserve your heart until you are certain their change is genuine.
It's very good to have people change for the better and giving a second chance to prove their goodness to us but in the euphoria of celebrating a lost soul that is now found, never loose yourself in the process. Don't let your second chance be the reason for your pain again. Forgiveness is beautiful, but don't let yourself be pushed around or put up with nonsense that could be avoided. At times, forgiveness and keeping one's distance is the best way to live a happy life. Choose wisely!
