[Blog]History is repeating itself… always
The month of March is really interesting. In the last two years March has been the month that changed the year for me.
Two years ago, in 2016, I moved to live alone in a one room apartment. I live by myself since then. I can say that this little decision changed my life in a way. Because back then, I was spending half my salary only on rent. And I had to wrack my brains out to be able to make a comfortable living.
Last year, March was the month I decided to quit my job. It took be till August to actually change it, but in March I took the decision. I started to apply to various jobs and in the end, I landed on my current one.
This is March is the month of big decisions as well. I won’t say yet the decision that I’ve taken. Because I don’t know yet the impact. But once again, March seems to be the month of life changing decisions.
I’ve wondered why this happens. In January I’m full of energy, New Year rush. But because of this, February is dead. I don’t have any energy or any mood to do anything. So here’s come March, where I’m reevaluating everything. And I make decisions with a clear mind. Without any New year enthusiasm or adrenaline rush. For me, March is the month when I change the course of the year, based on the lessons I’ve learned in the first weeks.
I think it’s important to reevaluate your plans, from time to time. Every few months. To see if you’re still on track. Because, most of the time, you’re not on track. Not everything works according to the plan. Life can surprise in many ways. And you can never be ready for everything. But you can adapt. And you can evolve.
Does it happen to you as well? Do you have a month or a period of the year where you re-evaluate your steps and plans? Let me know in the comments. If you liked the post give it an upvote. It's much appreciated.
