Ssg-community - Friday's Weekly Roundup Recap Report for Precious
Hello Steemsilvergold Stackers, It is Friday and that means the start of the weekend and the perfect day to start our new Precious weekly roundup post.
Who is posting for @ssg-community and when?
We all know the 4 horseman that work behind the scenes to collectively bring us Precious the Silver Mermaid. We have decided that we should be posting every single day and we have been letting the team down a little lately. On Monday evening we started using a new posting rota that split's up the week's post's between @welshstacker, @raybrockman, @thedamus and @silverstackeruk. Please see below to see who is posting on what day?

Monday
Monday came the first of the new 50% Precious upvote Lotto. Plan in a nutshell is sell 15-20 tickets, pick a winner each week to receive a 50% added upvote for 7 days. Full details can be seen here, we have already sold 15 tickets and there are 5 more spots up for grabs. A 50% Precious upvote today is worth 3.50-4.00 STU. That over 7 days is around 26 STU, each tickets costs 1 STEEM and you have a 1-20 chance of winning at worst. It's a no brainer in terms of ROI. Be quic as there are only 5 tickets left!!
Tuesday
Tuesday's post was a update that had to be put out quickly. On Tuesday morning something happened with the bot and she went offline. She was down for almost 20 hours before we got her up and running again. When we restarted her, we replayed 20 hours to catch up on missed upvotes from members, this however reset everyone's timer but there is little we can do about that and it is just one of those punches we gotta take when such things happen. The next day on Wednesday, the same thing happen but she was only down for around 20 minutes and we caught it fast. Since then, there have been no issues and she is running and upvoting smoothly as your like.
Wednesday
Wednesday's post was a roundup of what the stats are and some detail into how much and often we pay for some of the leases. Im not going to go into much detail as you can view the post yourself, if you like numbers and wonna get a little look into the running of Precious, its good reading
Thursday
There was no post yesterday, we went out looking for @thedamus as it was his day. We searched steemit, discord, emailed him and where did we find him?
In the bar giving it all that, he near shit when he seen we found him and hung his head in shame (but still partied)
On a serious note, @thedamus has only received the posting keys for @ssg-community and will start posting from next Thursday. That is our 1st roundup post folks, next week will include 6 days as Friday's dont count.

Nice update. Glad you guys were able to locate the Damus. We were all worried there for a bit.
Hey, since @ssg-community has so many Resource Credits, have we thought about using some of those to claim "free account creation tokens?" You need around 4 trillion RCs to do so (I believe), but Precious has 245 trillion. She should be able to claim at least a few creation tokens per day. I'm not quite sure how they work yet, but they could be of value in the future and there's no downside to claiming them. Just a thought. People wanting alts accounts might pay, or dApps creating accounts might pay for the tokens to give to their signups.
Show me how and I'll get it done. It's definitely worth looking in to and doing.
In fact I need to start a new account fir a little side project for ssg-community so thus will be excellent. Do you have anything I can read to show me how?

Follow the tutorial if you want to understand how the code works, or just download the HTML gist at the end and input the required information (I've read the code, and unless the steemd library itself is compromised, there's no malicious hijinks where they send off your Private Key, so should be safe. There's also at least 20 comments of people for whom it's worked in the article)
