Meeke fastest on shakedown of WRC Rally Catalunya 2019

Another good performance from Irishman Kris Meeke who drives Toyota Yaris WRC this season in the World Rally Championship. He is well behind Ott Tanak on the championship table but that's because Meeke crashes too much. He finds some tree stumps here and there and almost on every rally he has a broken rim or puncture etc.

Otherwise he would be a good championship material but he is not. He can be blissful sometimes but you never know when and where. It's hard to bet on this guy.

Shakedown special stage is nothing special and with no importance because it is used only or crews and teams for final tunes of their rally cars on their set-up.

So Meeke was fastes and homeboy Sordo was 2nd in his Hyundai. Latval posted 3rd fastest time in his Toyota.

Katsuta finished 5th and was kinda surprise. As I said this stage has no importance on overall results of this rally.
