Craig Breen is still on the learning curve. He is finishing the rallies but not on the places where Citroen's head management would like for sure.
I guess he chose for himself that place of 2nd driver in the team to remove a pressure from himself because it's not that easy to have that burden on your shoulders in case of Kris Meeke who had some wins for Citroen when not being under pressure, especially in the testing 2016 year when they hadn't full season as a works team.
Maybe it's time now for Breen to start to deliver results because I am sure it won't be enough 6th or 7th places to keep the job in hands.
Pierre Budar, as a Citroen's rally boss, said that he is looking for a fast drivers for 2019. Breen can be fast but we didn't see that this season.
Maybe he will perform better in the 2nd half of the season.
Anyway, Citroen's works squad had testing on tarmac for Rally Germany and Breen is trying hard from what we saw on the video.
The times shall tell the real true when the rally will start.
