Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.

I'm glad to be taking part in this week's Tron staking initiative and voting for super representatives on Tron blockchain.

WHAT ARE SUPER REPRESENTATIVES

Super representatives are witnesses on Tron blockchain who through running as validator nodes participate in block production on the Tron blockchain and in turn earn rewards on each successful block completion. In addition to this block reward, they also earn voting rewards whenever users votes for them using their Tron power.

In other to vote for a super representative, I will first have to convert my TRX to Tron power by first staking to earn energy.

On Tronlink Pro wallet click on stake then proceed with inputting the amount of TRX you wish you stake and click on continue.

After clicking on continue, you will be required to confirm the staking of the desired amount and afterwhich the amount of bandwidth that will be consumed will be displayed which you will have to confirm too.

After confirming the whole transaction, you will complete it by inputting your wallet password after which the transaction will be completed.

Now that we have successfully completed the staking of 72 trx for the purpose of voting for a super representative, we will proceed with voting for a super representative.

In other to vote for super representative, you will first click on vote and then choose an SR to vote for. I will be choosing based on the percentage of estimated yield.

After selecting who to vote for, you will proceed with clicking on "vote" then input the amount of Tron power you will be voting with and click on confirm.

After confirming, you will complete the transaction by inputting your wallet password afterwhich the transaction will be completed.

CONCLUSION

Voting for super representative is something I would encourage all TRX holders to constantly do as it serves as a way for them to contribute in the growth of the Tron blockchain as the voted representatives otherwise regarded as witnesses helps in performing validation duties which in turn increases the efficiency of the Tron blockchain.

In addition, users who vote using their TRX earns an extimated return on their stake which accumulates with time.
