BREAKING - The IRS has been using Bitcoin tracking software since 2015
According to documents obtained by the daily beast the IRS is using bitcoin transaction tracing tools developed by Chainalysis, since 2015.
The IRS stated:
"This is necessary to identify and obtain evidence on individuals using bitcoin to either launder money or conceal income as part of tax fraud or other Federal crimes."

Where is the line of privacy in respect to financial transactions? The current move to decentralize markets and platforms is a direct push back against control like this. I'm not saying tax avoidance is a noble pursuit but with recent revelations about how our information can be collected and used, its safe to say tracking technology can end up being pointed at anyone, not just terrorists and drug dealers.
