Selling Pressure on Altcoins? - Michael Jordan's Advice
With the User Activated Hard Fork coming closer, there seems to be a lot of selling pressure on most altcoins. Very few altcoins are actually green today, these are mostly the ones that have bitcoin on their names such as BitcoinPlus and BitcoinDark.
The reason for the pressure is the splitting of the BTC blockchain which will essentially double your coins. So, if you have 1 BTC in a wallet where you control the private keys, then you will get 1 Bitcoin Cash (BCC or BTC-C). This may not happen if your BTC is stored in an exchange although some exchanges are supporting this.
This is a good time to buy some altcoins using fiat currencies or spare any spare BTC that you have.
