The first in a series called: "Don't piss on me, then tell me it's raining."

This is Alfie Deacon and his mother. Alfie is 6 and has a rare condition that can give him 30 epileptic seizures a day. In one period of a year Alfie had over 3,000 seizures and was admitted to hospital 48 times. Any one of those seizures could kill Alfie and it's only pure luck he's still alive today. There is a treatment, that was only available in Holland, which will help him. While on this treatment Alfie went for 24 days without a single seizure and their severity is substantially reduced. The only medical treatment available in his homeland of the UK is huge doses of steroids which will inevitably destroy his internal organs and kill him. There are many other complications with this regimen and none of them are good. If Alfie uses the Dutch treatment he will go from 3,000 life threatening seizures a year to around 20. This is a known fact because Alfie used the Dutch treatment and that was how good it was.

Unfortunately the money ran out, this was a private treatment after all and not covered by any medical scheme. Alfie and his impoverished parents had to return to good old England. Where they asked if it would be possible for him to obtain the treatment through the good old NHS. The problem is that the treatment is Cannabis Oil. Alfie takes 3 drops a day. It has no other effect than alleviating his seizures. That is Alfie will not be stoned of his tits 24/7 munching on Cheerio's and giggling. His short term memory is not affected either. He's just like a normal boy.

The thing is Cannabis Oil in the UK is a Schedule 1 drug and as such is not allowed for personal consumption. According to the Home Office they do not recognize that it has any medical benefits. In order for a medicine to be permitted it must undergo tests to ensure it's efficacy, quality and safety. Basically the British government has told Alfie's mother he can fuck off and die. She's obviously quite upset about this. They don't give a shit about that though. Despite the drug costing far less than the average MP's last expenses claim for scented candles (Yeah that's genuinely a permissible expense for these assholes).

Let's cut through the bullshit here. No proven medical benefits? Well it stopped over 99% of Alfie's life threatening seizures straight off. Whisper this bit because it's used by thousands of elderly folk for pain management and they say it's safer and far more effective than everything from ibuprofen to medicinal opiates. They are all using only therapeutic doses which produce no high and generally they consume it in edibles. There's a cohort for your medical study. Thousands of elderly people who've used it for decades. I know from personal experience of users that it's shit hot at helping the severely autistic control their more self destructive behaviors. It has at least half a dozen fully proven medicinal uses including helping depression and reducing the effects and progress of Alzheimers.

Just because they "don't recognize" it has any health benefits doesn't mean it has none. It means the dumb cunts haven't recognized a full blown fucking obvious fact. "It must be tested" really? Even though anyone who applied for a research license or funding for such testing would have the application refused along with every other future application they ever made. You fired a consultant who stated, factually, that there was more risk from horse riding than taking MDMA. Police officers have been censured and forced to resign for claiming the war on drugs is pointless. Police forces have been coerced into policing cannabis possession more strictly. Rather than solving actual crimes.

Which explains why terrorists keep killing people and children are being raped on an hourly basis. They've been told "that guy is a significant danger" and "some men keep raping me" (NO SHIT THERE. IT'S A FACT) but they have more important work to do fighting a war on drugs on the streets. Sure your ex partner is threatening to kill you but we need to get this sixteenth, we've just confiscated, to the evidence locker. Then do all the paperwork. Call us back just before he stabs you and we'll try to get there no later than 5 hours after you're dead. It's modern policing. We don't prevent crime we tick fucking boxes on a government form. There's several forms for that. They have to fill all of them in.

Here's a fucking radical idea. Take a look at every other country that has decriminalized cannabis possession. Look at all their data. Have a quiet word with the several million people who have smoked it for years and either ask them about its long term effects or give them a check up. The data sets are all there. Fuck off over to Holland and ask them what's happening. Surely to God there's nothing remarkably different about Dutch people compared to English people. FUCK ME YOU ARE SO DUMB AND YOU'RE RUNNING A FUCKING COUNTRY LIKE CUNTS.

I could spend a couple of hours on the internet and find out all I need to know simply reading published medical papers more enlightened countries have allowed to be published. It's not rocket science. They won't though because this is fuck all to do with medical efficacy or safety or any other bullshit excuse. It's all about their fucked up attitude towards drugs. Fact: (I've done the numbers myself because they are hidden away) Dangerous levels of alcohol were a factor in over 50% of drug deaths in the UK last year. There is no illegal drug that even approaches causing 20% of fatalities. Death will always be listed as due to the illegal drug consumed never to the alcohol. Where is the ban on alcohol use? Where is the ban on tobacco use after they've discovered cannabis has never caused schizophrenia in anyone but tobacco has. 70% of schizophrenics smoke and the majority started long before they showed any times of the condition.

Bottom line. Drugs can cause immense harm. They destroy lives and kill people. Mostly because they are only sold by criminals who don't do a lot of quality control. If drug use was a health issue rather than a criminal one, drug lords would be fucked right up the ass. You could prescribe the drugs and they'd be medically pure and consistently the same. They could even provide tax revenue and free up police time for those minor crimes like murder, terrorism, rape and pedophilia. I look at it like this: If your 17 year old daughter fell in with the wrong crowd and ended up addicted to heroine, which would you rather happened.

1. She went to the doctor every 7 days for a prescription.
2. She sucked cocks all night long to get enough cash to buy her next fix which would eventually kill her due to being cut with poisonous shit.

That's how hard this actually is. But no instead of that they'll let a child suffer and eventually die based on their fucked up morality.
