Lunch Time
Yes, that's my big foot in the picture. The view is from a make shift palapa I made just to have some shade in the 96 degree heat of the clear blue sky.
All I'm thinking is, hey that not bad for two guys and a day and a half of work. Gonna be a long few weeks until we can get a roof on the thing and then at least we won't be out in the blazing South Texas Sun.
Sooner you than me @spozone. No way would I want to work outside in 96 degree heat. 😂
However, things have cooled down way too much here. We're still in t-shirts but it's not beach weather any more. 😢
I'm hoping for at last one last hurrah before we head for autumn.
We damned near finished the other half of it. It amazes me what two old dogs can achieve in just two days. The crazy thing is we haven't built a new home from scratch in nearly 5 years because we've been doing so many re-models. Looks like we still remember how. Sure am sore though, that's a lot of lumber we stood up.
