For New Steemit User Curration Explained with examples.
Little introduction about some methods i use here in the platform........
I never been a good writer (couse of language barriers between my native language and English one, traditions and understanding of several words included). I've never been a good photographer , couse my eye problems, and still i try to left my mark on the platform. No one says it would be easy and i will have so called "One shot kill" posts, so i began to search another suitable methods to put my time in acceptable proffits in steemit. Before make your moves , my advice is to understand the ways BOTH posting and curration rewards works.
Lets gues you try to digg in tags/categorrys and find your sweetable ones. You try to attend as much autors in specific theme to try to catch their ways to create a good attractive posts. You Upvote their post and hoppefully recieve a Curration rewards. Before you gather or buy your SteemPower (or SP), the Steemit (or the platform) weight your upvote on 100%. What this mean?
Lets say that your brand new account have a 27.5 Delegated power (i will cover it later on this post) and 0.5 SP in raw digits. You have overall 28SP, so lets handle this power and optimal as it will be. The platform choose 100% Vote Weight becouse this way is much optimal for the currator (I will explain this).
Delegated power is power owed to your account for powering propose . User cannot control that power by any means (transfering and/or exchanged). For new accounts it used only as addition for achieving $0.01 generated by their upvote at 100% Weight and more that 80% Vote Power, returning at least 0.001SP curration reward
ex. The post you attend have lest say $30 reward generated in the moment you attend it, with more them 20+ upvotes from other users. 25% of that reward gose to Currators (a users that upvote the posts). In 100% of the cases the first upvote is made by the posts autor with 99% of followed calculated curration reward at that specific time for him. in most cases if you attended a good post the autor left his mark in curration pool, with a good lets say "staking" upvote. the followed upvoters try to get their "shares" from reward curration pool weigthing their upvotes with percentages of their SP and Specific Weight. After the post reach 7 days lifespan 25% of generated sum goes to currators distributed in mathematic calculation where their SP and Weight play a main role.
Even before you upvote a post you can calculate how many your upvote cost. A big deal is to asure that you provide at least of 0.01 for Rewarding Pool. As far as i know a minimum Curration reward is 0.001SP so currator need at least $0.01 entering the reward pool.
How many you think this account will weight with such SP in this moment?
Lets use Uvote calculator to see............
As you see 0.00. The platform negated user Curration Reward becouse it will be smaller them 0.001SP. Thats why user would not recieve anythink. Using some automated upvote platforms
at this user stage is not suggested if they didn't have a control to tweek them. With such "costumised" upvote they didn't help autor they try to support , neither themself. TBH at the beginning i have made the same misstakes. Upvoting bunch of new posts with Weight under 100% . Thats why The Platform gives Currators option to control their upvote weight when they achieve 500SP.
Like i say i am not a good writer, so i posted some photos , clips from my YTB channel. After a time i was able to generated some SBD. I read about some platforms, and try to approach them. If a new user use them they should consider they upvotes or paying SBD as fast interest return instruments. On steemfollower.com users can try to accumulate a sum that can expect as following posts rewards. On minnowbooster they can spend hardly awarded SBD for a returm in upvotes that can realy boost their posts. New user can even attend some giveaways and lotterys on the platform. The main reason behind steemit is providing hight quality autor content in social network.
So dont look at the platform like easy 1 day millionate options. You'll need a time to to collect your portfolio even you are not a good writer , but you'll need an optimal approach the goal.
