My Introduction to the Steemit Community!

Hello all! I am happy to have found steemit! I am 30 years old living in Las Vegas and for the last 12 years, I have played poker, bet sports and played fantasy football professionally. What a ride it has been full of ups and downs and all kinds of stories from traveling around the country playing poker tournaments, ridiculous gambling stories playing high stakes ping pong matches and prop bets on the golf course, the biggest bets I've won and lost in my life and so much more! I plan on sharing many of these stories.

My life changed a little bit in 2017 when I finally pulled the trigger and bought some crypto. I didn't make money right away but I was hooked on trading and learning about all the different coins. Once I got my feet wet in the market, I was able to find some very profitable coins. The big one for me is called NoLimitCoin (NLC2). I found this coin at about 200-300 satoshi and it was worth a few cents. I found this coin by searching for new, emerging Fantasy Sports platforms. I used to play Draftkings regularly but the games have gotten tougher and the rake is huge. Anyways, I had an excellent year playing fantasy football on the platform (the games were INFINITELY softer than DK or Fanduel) and accumulated a lot of NLC2 and then the coin went up nearly 10x during December and my life changed a little bit.

These days I am playing much less poker but I stay close to the game as I still coach several players. Grinding live poker is very time consuming and online poker just isn't the same in the US since Black Friday. I find that I am enjoying my days much more now that I am not spending significant time in smoke filled casinos grinding away. I've always enjoyed writing and have been wanting to put pen to paper about numerous topics for a long time (years). Now seems like the perfect time to begin writing about not just my past but also the present and future. The topics I will most likely be covering will be Fantasy Sports and Sports Betting, everything Poker related (WSOP, hand histories, lifestyle), crypto, movies and anything else that is relevant, funny or that I find is worth writing about.
