Yeah, that's my window. I was doing some arc welding that day.
Nn, no. This one is about water.
I woke up and made my coffee, thought my son was in the shower.
I sat down to check crypto prices and other drama happening on steemit, Oops forgot to tap a kidney...
So, I go take care of business, wash up and brush my teeth. I find myself still yelling good morning to my 16 year old.
I walk out of the bathroom and I don't see him, but I still hear the shower.

You've heard of a Rude Awakening
This was mine. The water heater is in a closet that opens up while you are in the closet (back to back with the shower if you cam picture that. These are electric water heaters which never made me conformable either.
I put on some shoes before I reached in to turn off the hot water to the tank, then I clicked switch, and I hear the water slowing down to a drip. Problem solved till I can get someone here. buuuuzzzz-pop.
Now the electricity is off.
You are looking at at 5 year old high rise that has many things and places to enjoy. When your apartment seems more like a maze of booby traps, you are not starting your day right.
Knowing a bit about things and things. I figured that water as gotten to the heating element - so I unplugged it, then went to kick on the circuit breaker.
I just wanted my morning coffee!
Oh almost forgot.
My son had left. I had not realized it until I saw a note on the door saying he left early for school. I have never seen a sixteen year old so anxious to go to school, his little brother starts today, and I guess it's the big brother's job to show him the ropes. It's my youngest's first day in High School. The big brother, in this case doesn't start school until tomorrow, but he wants to make sure his little bro gets it right.
We have hot showers upstairs by the gym or downstairs by the pool. A bit inconvenient to drag your soap, and clothes with you up and down the elevator, but it will have to do.
I have a call in to the peeps that do water heaters. That fun should be my morning at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Another Rude Awakening for tomorrow.

The apartments are small but the roof top is for use for everyone and so is the back yard, and pool.

The shower still works but only cold water. I had to run off the water inlet to the tank. They said they will replace my hot water tank tomorrow.

Uhhhhhh, peor es que se te queme la ducha en pleno baño o que al bañarte el agua te produzca descarga constantemente. O como es en la actualidad, que mi hija cierra la canilla con el palo de secar el piso para que no le dé ese "cosquilleo" buen post, y soy testigo de la excelente vista del edificio. SALUDOS!

All the water came out. Did it happen or did anyone hurt?
I added information after posting. dTube doesn't allow much editing. Everything is fine. I have never really been a fan of electric water heaters. after I turned it off, it blew a fuse, then I unplugged it and I have lights again. Crazy morning!
