Interested buyers can visit the Etherdelta platform to place private orders at the superintendent. However, at the time of writing, the platform does not specify any orders and prices. This is probably due to technical problems, such as a Javascript error that prevents users from completing purchases.

According to the Minister for education, science and technology Hugely ROA, traffic to the site, Petro has grown in 5 times almost immediately after the midnight Declaration of preproduce. Then President Nicolas Maduro announced:

"Venezuela received $735 million on the first day of the sale of Petro cryptocurrency."

Petro website says: "all you need to do is open a digital wallet by Petro. It will generate an e-mail address, which you can share with all those who wish to convert PTR into your wallet. You will be able to receive and store your Petro on this email address."

The instruction also talks about the use of private security keys, but stops at the moment about the public keys needed for any cryptocurrency deposits. Even more curious looked vague announcement regarding the use of blockchain NEM:

"The blockchain, launched by the government of Venezuela has strong security mechanisms, because of its programmatic elements related to the technological platform NEM blockchain".

Nem cryptocurrency, which uses centralized servers with a private code, recently appeared regularly in the news about the hacking of one of the largest exchanges Coincheck. As a result of hacking, the exchange lost $539 million of crypts.
