Has Amazon Accepted Bitcoin as Mainstream Currency!
A report circulated that suggested Amazon was preparing to accept Bitcoin as a payment method – and although that announcement wasn’t given at the firm’s recent earnings call, the company has now purchased three new cryptocurrency-related domains. The news follows on from 2013, when Amazon first purchased the domain amazonbitcoin.com – at present, the address redirects to Amazon.com.
Reports show that Amazon has now officially registered the domains amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com, amazoncryptocurrencies.com – just as Bitcoin has managed to sail over the 7,000 USD mark thanks to CME Group’s newly announced plans to launch Bitcoin futures trading later this year.
Though Amazon did not officially announce its support of Bitcoin in its latest earnings call, the supposition that the e-commerce giant is looking favorably towards these cryptocurrency. It remains uncertain as to what the giant’s plans are, or whether the company has either any plans to accept digital currencies as a payment method. One far more speculative hypothesis – and unsupported by any concrete evidence – could be that the firm is investigating launching its own cryptocurrency exchange.
Amazon’s interest in cryptocurrencies arises at the same time as other internet giants – a recent listing within an app API recently indicated that Google may accept Bitcoin in its Google Play Store, while other firms such as PayPal and PayFast already accept the cryptocurrency. I heard back in the day that Amazon just acquired the bitcoin domain name to keep others from using it. Idk if they actually plan to utilize it themselves.
Im sure at this point they are just securing the rights. But I can also see Amazon being a leader in bringing cryptocurrency to the mainstream some day. Time will tell. Thanks for commenting.
that is what i think to ! Once Amazone would accept crypto, people will be surprised about this for the most unreal money , they will look in to how can i get that... But will it really come that far? I hope so.

Yeah! I think Amazon will definitely make bitcoin and other top digital currencies mainstream. Its just a matter of few years before the sleeping world competition wakes up to the new realities.
