As you remember, my friend and companion - Roman Baikov made a journey to the Seychelles. And as a real fisherman, he almost all the time devoted to catching ocean fish by various methods.
On the last day of his journey, the Roman went with a fishing guide Victor Pipelin went far out to sea, on the border of the reef area to try to catch the big GT...

The Roman for this fishing was fairly light tackle set - fishing rod up to 50 grams, a size 4000 reel and cord #2,5...
Of course, this is not the optimal set of gear for catching large fish in the ocean. Therefore, several baits have been torn off a trophy predators...But Roman still managed to catch his record GT of 8 kilograms!

As lures fishermen used pilkers for vertical jig weighing 60-120 grams.
And another fisherman, who was in the boat, caught on pieces of fish. And he had a shark bite.)))
