My best lures (for pike)
This bait belongs to the wobblers of the minnow class and for several years (from the moment of its appearance in the retail sale) pleases the anglers using the wobblers on fishing, excellent trophies.
Deps Balisong 130SP - large bait 130 mm, weight 23.7 grams. Wobblers are equipped with a long-throw system (which is not superfluous at its dimensions) and a noise chamber. The SP index means that the wobbler has a neutral buoyancy and when the animation stops, it hangs in the water column.
Balisong attracts the pike as its powerful sweeping game with jerk wiring, and additional noise support. It has been repeatedly noted that despite the working horizon of Balisong about 2+ meters, the pike rises for its attack even from a depth of 6 meters!
When jumping the Deps Balisong 130SP, you need to try different animation options. Sometimes, when the pike is hyperactive, a sharp and amplitude play of the wobbler is required, which is achieved by jerk-style wiring, with jerks similar to blows by a rod. But on the cold water Deps Balisong 130SP is better to animate delicate jerk-pulls with a small amplitude.
In all cases, the bait should first be sloughed onto the working horizon by several turns of the coil.
With the animation of Deps Balisong 130SP, pauses between jerks are very important. The colder the water, the longer it takes to maintain the wobbler when paused. Sometimes up to 20 seconds! The average working time of pauses is from 2-3 to 6-8 seconds.
The lure shows itself well above the deep-sea buckets, as well as over the bumps from 3 to 5-7 meters.
The color range of this model includes natural and provocative bait body colorings. Standard advice - to have in the box one wobblers in bright and natural colors ...
The original Japanese Deps Balisong 130SP is an expensive bait. Of course, psychological is more pleasant to catch on the original, but if its cost is too expensive, you can try replicas of Chinese production, which under various names are present in our market ...

Thanks for sharing!
These are definitely great hooks for Jacks(pike) in the summer where I am. Wintertime here they seem to like biting on jigs and mr.twisters, but not the rattling jigs.
In winter, in cold water, all lures should be slower and quieter... IMHO
Nice !! Nothing like the take of pike slamming that Lure.
Tight lines mate.
Agreed))
