This is not a staging or a joke. The guys from the company Norstream during the expedition to Chukotka tried to catch pike tackles local fishermen. And, as you can see, very successful))).
Chukotka rivers are famous for an abundance of pikes. Including trophy sizes. I have even written about how my acquaintances go to Chukotka or Yakutia every year, striving to overtake the bar of personal records on caught pikes. And each of them the size of trophies long ago exceeded 12-13 kilograms.
So there is nothing surprising in the fact that pike in the wild places of Chukotka rushes to the bait, abandoned by hand literally 5-7 meters from the boat. By the way, something similar, only about catching Grayling in Siberia, was filmed in due time by the program "Dialogues about fishing ". Only there the fisherman threw a spinners lure "from hands ", using as a coil an empty jar from under stewed meat.)))

Congratulations on the catches. It is a fishing technique similar to trolling with the difference that we practice it with the engine of the boat on and at the minimum. Really beautiful prey and fun fishing trip. I hope to be able to provide videos similar to this and to entertain you too.
