Joining them will be Jill Rutter, senior research fellow, Institute for Government; Ruth Stanier, HMRC director general customer strategy and tax design; Lindsey Whyte, director, personal tax, welfare and pensions at the Treasury; and Emma Agyemang from the Financial Times.
The event is intended to provide an opportunity to review the OTS's contribution to the development of the UK tax system over the last 10 years, and to debate its future work and role, in light of the government's recent announcement of a tax administration roadmap. It will also touch on the current OTS reviews into capital gains tax and claims and elections.
