TIME
Time is our greatest enemy .It does not wait for any man. A day comes and it goes.
A ten year old seems very young, but to God is 3650days old. When you have lived 3650days you know you are not very young. psalm 90:12 says Teach us to number our days that we may incline our hearts unto wisdom. Why does God reckon in days? coz He expects us to achieve something on a daily basis. It is a frightening thought to consider the number of days you have wasted .A lot can happen in one day.One day can make all the difference in the world .An example from contemporary history any one born in Hongkong on june 30th 1997 is a british citizen-anyone born in Hongkong on july 1st is a chinese citizen because Hongkong goes back to china on july 1st. This makes all the difference between holding a british and chinese passport.
Esau sold his birthright to Jacob.He woke up that morning the first born and went to bed that evening a nobody .If he were to look back at what he achieved that day,it would be that he sold his birthright.
David woke up a shepherd boy and went to bed a king.when you go to bed everynight,ask yourself ‘ what have I achieved today? something about the day , make it very interesting.
The day ,like death ,makes all men equal .Everyman Rich or poor, educated ,illiterates ,has only 24hrs in a day.so why do some do so much and others so little?Coz some are wiser than others.The man who says he is killing TIME is killing himself because time does not die but you grow old.
Any visitor who will not contribute something to your life is a thief of time-Time is money,Time is life.
If u are still young you can still avoid entering into the culture of ease before achieving anything . You cannot succeed if you are lazy. Once gone, a day can never be brought back .Nobody can call yesterday.Everyday is an opportunity that comes your way.Make the best of it.
What can you do if you have wasted 10,000days or more than that, which cannot be brought back? But you can work double to redeem the time.
Time is precious,Time is life.Life is too short to waste time on things that have no lasting significance or value.
