Alien Invaders!
For your information, I've now pushed a version of the Alien Invaders game out onto itch.io for your viewing pleasure.
This is part of the Beginners Tutorial!
I thought I should place the game on the Web so that you can look at its progress.
Please note, it isn't very playable right now, but it will be extended very soon. The game will be developed, slightly ahead of the tutorial set, so hopefully you can see where we are heading.

Thanks for comments. Yes, there's a LONG way to go! I just felt the game that is being developed in the Tutorial should be online for people to see and try. I've had several ideas for where to take this game.

Yes, I would like to show 'galaxians' style craft sweeping in, both as levels and also to join the pack. I'll have to introduce a boss too. I'm going to quickly work on a playable, 'simple' invaders and then move on to show you these extras; hint, I've already shown the sine wave being used to move the Invaders in a formation, so it's not difficult to pick a start and end point and then have them move!
