For A Second
For A Second.
Sparks fly and everything gets better. At least that's what i´ve been told.
I can´t tell you what it looks like because i´ve never seen it.
They say the whole world stops for a while and you get the feeling everything´s perfect.
For a whole second you are on top of the world. For a second you are the happiest person on earth.
It's just for a second, but it´s the longest second!!
For a second you are capable of doing anything and nothing will stop you , but just for a second.
For a second you are the strongest person. For a second you are the brightest star, and for a second you are living everybody's dream!! But don't forget... it's just a second.
For a second not only the world is perfect, but you feel perfect too!!.
They say it's the strongest feeling. Nothing compares to it. They say once you feel it, you will never be the same.
I can't tell you what it feels like, cuz I've never ever felt it. But i won't deny i'm kind of jealous of those who have.
I wonder if it's really real. I wonder if it will come to me.
By now i'm just waiting. and i'll keep waiting until the day my heart stops beating.
I know some people who live like it is the only thing there is to see in the world. Like it's the only thing that matters . It motivates them, it gives them strength.
I'm not like that people. Maybe it's just because i don't think about it as much as they do. Maybe to me it's not that important. Maybe i just don't care. (but i do).
There are days i feel there's something different in me. Something that makes me different to everyone else. There are days i feel there's something wrong with me for not being like them. For not searching what everybody else is looking for. For not falling in love. That's what i'm truly jealous about.
What can i do? i'm who i am and i can't help it.
By now i'm just waiting. and yes, i will keep waiting till my heart stops beating.
Maybe i will never really know what it's like. But maybe i will.
Maybe love will never knock on my door. Maybe that's how it's meant to be. I will not fight it, that's for sure!.
Whatever's meant to be will be.
