Quality of Life

What is the quality level of the products we use here?
Well, I know what it is, but I simply can't help but be amazed by it. Every time I buy something. Every time I use something.
Most of the things produced here are not of high quality. Such as cosmetics.

And for some time now I have been observing a very unpleasant trend in food products - in their packaging. The packaging of the foodstuffs is of such poor quality that it breaks in your hands or cannot be opened at all in the places intended for opening.
And when it comes to saving money on packaging materials, I can imagine the situation inside these packages and what we eat in general.

But the bad thing is that even imported products are of low quality, different from those sold in "white countries". I can't forget the words of a girl I met in Germany years ago. She had told me that whenever she came to this country she went to the DM to buy (among other things) Nivea cream in those traditional dark blue boxes. Because "the Nivea cream sold in Bulgaria has nothing to do with the one sold in Germany."

And I agree with her. Not only about Nivea cream. But somehow there is no way to travel to Germany just to buy cosmetics. It's ridiculous, doesn't it? Well, not so much, when you are aware of the quality of all other products, sold in DM there, for example, and the products sold here, again in DM.

Recently we bought a large package of liquid detergent Ariel (in another store). I like Ariel against the so many bad products on the market. But this is an expensive brand and we only buy it when there is a discount. So, there was a discount again, when we bought it. And guess (the probability of buying a counterfeit product when it is on sale is very high) when you remove the bottle cap, you smell the liquid inside - it smells like detergent, but when the clothes come out of the washing machine, the smell is gone and the laundry doesn't smell like laundry. There is no smell of anything. It's as if the clothes aren't washed. And that feels pretty weird.

Well, I will not throw away this detergent. Still enough money are given for it, regardless of the discount. I will use it to the end. But still. I say again, when you experience something like this, and you experience it every day here, you can't help but wonder what food you eat and what things you put on your body skin, what water you drink, what you even take a shower with (because it turned out that in certain regions of the country the water is poisoned and not even suitable for taking a shower with it, but people are not aware of this).
Yes, Bulgaria is not at war, but it is still the poorest country in the EU and people there lack dignity in life. It never existed.

steem.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
