Owners and tenants

Imagine, you are at the sea (you can see the sea in the background). You've booked a hotel room in a fancy hotel. Not so luxurious, because we travel more or less on a budget. Besides, when booking a hotel room on booking.com, you never know what your hotel and room will actually look like when you go in place...

So, you are at the sea (do I have to tell you again that this is my favorite destination. No matter in which country. And even in Bulgaria. You've booked a room in a hotel near the sea and the port. You enter the room, pull the curtains to the small terrace overlooking the sea, and you see this view outside: 😻

Guess if I went out on this terrace at all.
Why?
Because I didn't want to disturb the sleep of this beautiful, but obviously stray cat.

They were actually two cats. The other one was sleeping on the next chair. And we actually thought that this was the only place for sleeping on the terrace, as only this pillow seemed to be dirty, made dirty by the cats that sleep on it.
Then this other cat ran away because my boyfriend scared it reluctantly by opening the balcony door.
Then this gorgeous grey cat came in its place.

And this was first floor room. In front of the terrace, there is a platform, tin roof of the restaurant below. And honestly, I couldn't understand what these beautiful fat cats did, in order to reach this place. (As I told you, I didn't go outside to explore the building, because I didn't want to disturb them.)
But it was clear this was their place, their home or, something like a summer villa. 😸 You know - the place where you're going to have a rest, to sleep undisturbed before the astonished eyes of the tenants of the room.

Because they are the owners. And we were just tenants.

steem.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to small and not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
