Lack of information

Today I was going to write about Ottoman architecture, i.e. monuments and relics from other conquerors of the Bulgarian lands, before those I wrote about yesterday. Because this building I'm showing you here looks so... Ottoman.

It seems so, despite the date depicted on it - 1876, which almost coincides with the date of liberation of the country from these conquerors.

So, I was about to tell you today, that buildings remained from that era, Ottoman buildings built by Ottomans and owned by Ottomans are for me another part of the Stockholm Syndrome. Because I like them. Or at least, I am able to notice, see and appreciate the beauty of the architecture, the genius and skills with which it was built, and which our country has subsequently inherited.

However, after a long search on the Internet and still finding some information, very minimal information about this building, I found out that it is not a building owned by Ottomans. It was a building owned by a Bulgarian, a famous artist and revolutionary, who participated in the preparation of the uprisings for Liberation - Georgi Danchov. (The town where it is located is called Chirpan.)

But I still can't be sure.
Because the little information I found is actually contradictory. And I still have the feeling that this is not true and that this building is Ottoman.

We have to admit that the Internet is a very good thing, but it does not have absolutely all the information we need. I have known this since I had my own blog about small and not so famous tourist destinations. There was no information about most of the places on the Internet. While I had historical magazines on hand and drew information from there.
So we have to admit that knowledge is not yet on the internet. It is still in libraries, although it is rarely visited today.

And this, of course, opens a new niche for blockchain fraudsters. Because I already know about people who copy their texts from books that have not been uploaded on the Internet.
Clever and cunning, huh? 😄

steem.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
