I have kept the post short...

It's not that I can't write a longer text. Sometimes I have to restrain myself.

The title of my post the naked truth is inspired by one of Manto's quote:

اگر آپ ان افسانوں کو برداشت نہیں کر سکتے تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ زمانہ ناقابل برداشت ہے... میں تہذیب و تمدن کی اور سوسائٹی کی چولی کیا اُتاروں گا جو ہے ہی ننگی... میں اسے کپڑے پہنانے کی کوشش بھی نہیں کرتا اس لیے کہ یہ میرا کام

نہیں، درزیوں کا ہے... "

I translate:

"If you cannot bear these stories, then society is unbearable. Who am I to remove the clothes of this society, which itself is naked? I don't even try to cover it, because I am a storyteller, not a tailor."

When I read him for the first time in my life, I found him vulgar, totally obscene... But now, when I see things like the one I mentioned in my post, I can totally relate with his writings.

There is one more I wanted to share with you:
