AREN'T YOU CHASING AFTER THE WIND?

Dear friends,

To SUCCEED in every endeavor and be truly happy in life is a dream of all. Seriously, pursuing it, they do invest their resources in education, in carrier or professions, in establishing a family in harmony, and in other personal concerns such as good health and social relationship to fulfill this dream. There are others who even consult professional planners for their advice. Oftentimes, only few can say honestly that, in its truest sense, they reached their goal. like a ship sailing a stormy sea, many find themselves in a very turbulent journey where the chance to survive is very minimal or like what the wise King Solomon calls people who struggle doing things they eventually find out meaningless-a chasing after the wind. There rest end up either in miserable defeat or in merely thinking they succeed; however, deep within, they suffer from emptiness, sadness, and regret as they face their death, for they finally realize that everything they gain is but in vain and to rectify the mistakes committed is already too late. Where along the way have they gone wrong and ended up tragically? Did they start their pursuit right?

This reality points out that unless one looks at success and happiness the way it should be, he will never truly succeed in his endeavors and be happy. Only the omniscient God Almighty teaches this wisdom written is, among others, what all must seek so as not to suffer from the consequences of trial and error or hit and miss on their way to a blessed life. The teaching of God, especially His counsel, should never be ignored by anyone, for such will bring upon him the worst.
