[Daily] A rooftop cafe in Seoul

성수동에 있는 어니언을 다녀왔습니다! 드디어어어
안그래도 요즘 많이많이 핫한 곳이라고 듣긴 했는데, 정말 이정도일 줄 몰랐어요

Hello, this is @soojiini.
I went to 'Onion', a cafe, which is near Seong-su station in Seoul. This one is very popular these days, you might see the pics of it on IG or FB already. I reckoned it wouldn't be crowded, as it's uncertain for something to eat at 3-4pm, but it was.

1970년대에 지어진 건물이래요.
원래는 공장이었는데, 지금은 카페로 재탄생한 곳!
밖에서 보면 그리 커보이진 않는데, 내부는 꽤 넓었습니다.

(아, 주차공간 따로 마련되어있지 않으니, 차있으신 분들은 카페 근처 유료 주차장 이용하셔요. 안그러면 차걱정에 심장이 쫀득쫀득해 질거에요ㅠㅠ)

This building was built in the 1970s and was used for metal-working industry.
But now it is one of the hot places for coffee-lovers in Seoul after renovation!
It doesn't look like that big place, but it does, pretty huge! (Just for the people who will bring their cars, there are some paid parking lots, around 2,000 won per hour)

문열고 들어가면 펼쳐지는 곳
빵 종류 되게 많고, 사람도 되게 많고... ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

팡도르가 시그니쳐인 것 같더라구요! :) 다들 요로케 트레이에 하나씩 하나씩

They have a range of delicious breads. Especially this Pandore is the most popular one, I guess, as almost everyone picked it up! If you are a sweetie lover, you gotta try this.

자리가 불편하게 된 곳도 있고, 정말 코지한 곳도 있고 그래요.
자리는 운에 맡기시라는 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
그래도 어느 자리던 채광이 좋아서인지 사진찍기도 이뻤어요!

I feel that some seats look cozy like corner or window seats, unlike others. Nevertheless, you will get cool pics/selfies because of a lot of large windows!

사실 어니언이 빵이 맛있어서 유명한 것도 있지만,
저는 요 테라스 덕분이라고 생각해요.
옥상 위로 올라가면 요로케 느낌충 느낌을 뿜뿜할 수 있는 공간이 뙇!! 나와요
낮에는 정말 선구리 필수템.. 제발...

I think this cafe is special because it has wonderful terrace on the rooftop as well as it has lots of yummy bites. Don't forget to bring your sun care things like sunglass, sunscreen...

공장을 개조한 건물이다 보니 턱이나 계단이 위험해서
아이들은 조금 더 조심하셔야 될 것 같아요

Please mind the steps especially when you are with the children.

아쉽지만, 개인적으로 커피가 맛있다고 생각이 들진 않았고... 무난했다고 생각해요
왜 다들 빵이 맛있는 곳이라고 하는지 알겠다 싶기도 했구요

다만, 나도 느낌좀 내고싶다!!!!
날 좋은날 테라스 앉아서, 주전부리와 함께 책 좀 읽고 싶다!!! 하는 분들에게는 강추합니당 :)
(주변에 큰 건물이 없어서 시끄럽지 않아요)

I didn't feel their coffee is greatly tasty, actually.
But I think this is because a cup of ice latte was the only one I had. If you wanna have a seat and get some rest... with a book on a shiny day, definitely I recommend here!
