i myself have used psychedelics for a more interpersonal relationship with myself, experiencing ego death is a whole different level and terrance mckenna also has tripped throughout his life(RIP) but i feel that different psychs such as LSD,DMT etc, are a bit much than just taking some good dried Cubensis, maybe its just me . Even though some had said that acid is more of a speedy trip, i just prefer psilocybin even though i haven't tripped in over a year. but next time i do, i will remember that this post striked the conversations about shrooms again in daily convos with friends. thanks
Thank you for commenting! I completely agree. I'm not much a fan of LSD. I have taken the prescribed Mckennian dose of 5 grams dried in silent darkness in multiple occasions (although not recently in the past 18 months or so) and got my fill of eternity we might say for a long time. It's the source of everything that we call religious ecstasy, wisdom, and intelligence. Mushrooms are alive - they impart something that is more organic in feeling than the crystalline cold geometric close-eyed visuals that accompany the ingestion of LSD. I love mushrooms more than anything in the world. So glad to have sparked conversation! When in doubt, take mushrooms. Doesn't have to be a lot, but definitely I can confidently assert that psilocybin will help one to become still, if one is anyway by nature contemplative, and in that stillness come to remember who one is, or rather, who one isn't. That's why I invented the username anamnesia as my online ID to go by as I modified the word : anamnesis which means remembrance, to recollect back together into one whole. Our task as entheogenically inspired psychonauts is to find that out, and then bring this awareness osmotically to others so that we all may remember we are all one energy, death is not the end, and there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of fundamentally.
