The import of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), which is coming into effect from April next to fuel shortage, will increase the gas prices in the country. At the beginning of the day, 50 million cubic feet of gas will be available from LNG. If there is a shortage of fuel, the price of gas will increase. A committee is working to finalize how much it will increase.
Energy prices in the world market upwards for six months. For this, the petroleum corporation is giving a loss of around 10 million rupees daily But the government has not yet thought of raising the price of fuel oil at the normal level.
