Writer and translator Jonathan Clements revealed last week that German publisher Lübbe is adapting the Death Note anime into a 12-hour audio drama. The drama will be have both English and German versions. Clements is writing the drama. The drama is based specifically on the anime adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's manga, and not the manga itself.

This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump is revealing on Monday that Yoshihiro Togashi is putting his Hunter X Hunter manga on hiatus. However, Togashi reveals in the author comments in the same issue that he plans to resume the manga before the end of the year.

This year's October issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine will announce on Monday that Unison Square Garden, the group that performed the ending theme song for the first anime season based on Yasuhiro Nightow's Blood Blockade Battlefront manga, will return to perform the opening theme song "fake town baby" for the second season, Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond. The single CD will ship on November 15

This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump will announce on Monday that Bandai Namco Entertainment's upcoming Gintama action game, previously code-named "Gintama Project Last Game," is titled Gintama Ranbu. The magazine will also reveal that Shinpachi and Kagura will be playable characters.
Weekly Shonen Jump announced the game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in July. A teaser video showed Gintoki battling Takasugi.

The official website for the television anime adaptationof Saburouta's Citrus yuri manga began streaming the anime's first promotional video on Friday. The site also revealed one more cast member, a new visual, the show's staff, and the January 2018 premiere. The anime will air on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and BS Fuji.
