An Innovative Way To Promote Steemit To The Masses + 100 STEEM Bounty

Any who follow me will know that I have been developing ideas on how to promote Steemit to the masses in order to ensure its success. I personally love this platform and what it stands for, and I feel honoured to be a part of the community here. For this reason, I plan to do anything and everything I can to help it succeed, and a mass adoption seems like a great way to make that happen.
I have previously designed some promotional art for Steemit as well as running the Steemit ArtClash competition to get get others to do the same. My efforts didn't prove to be as successful as I had hoped, but I believe I may have come up with a new--and free--way of getting the word out about Steemit to a very large audience.
Over the past couple of months I have been playing a lot of WordsByPost in my spare time. It is an app that is pretty much the same as scrabble, but you are able to play against people all over the world. Just last night, I managed to get myself into the top 100 in world, making it onto the leaderboards.
As soon as I realised that I was in the top 100, I instantly regretted my sardonic choice of username. When thinking about what would have been a better screenname to use, I thought, why not steemitdotcom?
This game has over 100,000 downloads in the android market place alone, with users being able to play against others on Windows Phone and iPhone also, so the amount of visibility when reaching the leaderboard is quite significant. I already intend to start a new profile and name it steemitdotcom, but I thought it would be a good idea to encourage others to do the same.
I am offering 100 STEEM (It would be more if I had more available right now) to the first person who can enter the top 100 leaderboard on any high traffic game--using a username that promotes Steemit.
I stipulate that it must be a high traffic game, because if you make it into the top 100 in a game that only has 200 downloads, then that isn't exactly helping Steemit much. For the sake of avoiding a potentially difficult decision in future, we will say that 75,000+ downloads in any given smartphone market constitutes a high-traffic gam
The bounty will be available for 6 weeks from today, so who knows- 100 STEEM may be worth a lot more by then. But, if any whales want to sweeten the pot to get more people involved, then let it be known in the comments section and I will update the bounty.
If you are successful, create a post with screenshots to prove your results and DM me at the same username on steemit.chat to receive your reward.
It may take me a few weeks but, I will get steemitdotcom into the top 100 and I shall make a post when I do so. Obviously, I am not eligible for the bounty though, just to clarify.

Yes, I didn't say it would be easy. But, imagine the recognition that steemit could receive if a number of us ended up making the global leader boards. People would start coming to steemitdotcom to see what it is, and once they're here I believe the hard part is already done, because the platform is amazing enough to sell it itself without our assistance.

Well, I thought so too--But, unfortunately it has not received the attention I expected. I may offer 1 STEEM per resteem on steemit.chat promotional page in a moment to see if that can successfully get the word out.

Neat... good idea. Check out the steemit4free tag as far as contributing art... that was a cool idea too. A way for us to share stuff with each other that we are free to use in our posts and to promote steemit.

Thanks. Can you imagine if we managed to get a steemitdotcom into the leaderboards on almost every game?? Millions of people would be pouring in here to see what the hell the site is about. Once here, I think they only need to take a look around to realise that they would love to be a part of the community.

I think that's pretty brilliant but I'm not a big gamer. The only thing I really play when I need a little brain break is Candy Crush. LOL Does that count?
If it has a leaderboard then certainly! I know it's a widely played game too, so if steemitdotcom or somethign similar found its way in to the top 100 then I'm sure that would draw a fair amount of people to the site to find out more about it.
I'm not getting into any top 100s, but changing my Steam username to "username @steemitdotcom" wasn't too hard.
Quite a few people could easily do that (wherever they have a username they can edit) as a start.
