A few more photos:
The forest is so dense in the summer, I try not to stray more than a few hundred feet from trail buddies.
From the air, you cannot see down in into this forest without special camera equipment and techology.
This forest, will take over anything left in it without constant trimming and removal.
Thanks to @nevlu123 for the animation.

The third one looks so jungle like, somehow. Beautiful photos.
@gandalfthewhite
Yeah maybe that big tree trunk, well parts of Georgia are considered a rainforest so pretty much.
Beautiful trees! ♥♥♥
@maria444
thanks much! They have been around a long time, hundreds of years probably.
It's like a winter forest and hoarfrost on the trees.
@setik-001
Hah yeah infrared photos look like snow covered leaves. Its actually the chemical in the leaves reflecting the light from the sun off the plants.
wow its like a dream place
@roky
Sweet spots outdoors can be treasures when you find them.
