The Moon

As you may or may not know I am an Astrologer by trade and I love taking photos, and this post combines the two. On the 31st January we are going to be under an Eclipse of the Moon so I think this is a very appropriate time to share this photo.

I took this photo freehand out of my living room window with my camera trying to keep as steady as I could on the occasion of a full Moon, which we will have again in a couple of day's time. I still cannot believe how much detail I caught. As someone who studies the movement of the planets for his living, this is a special one for me...

This is beautiful. I have pictured moon as well. Sadly i dont have long range lens. Basically i barely see craters on moon. What lens do you use ?

The longest one I had!!! It was my wife's camera so cannot remember exactly although I know I took it with a Fuji Finepix HS10
