Happy Birthday to actor Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis is celebrating his 68th birthday today as he was was born on March 19, 1955, in Idar-Oberstein in Germany. As you will know, he is best known for his roles in action films such as the "Die Hard" series, "Armageddon," and "The Fifth Element."

Bruce began his career on the stage, appearing in several Off-Broadway productions, before transitioning to television and film. His breakthrough role came in the 1980s with the hit TV show "Moonlighting," in which he played detective David Addison opposite Cybill Shepherd. In 1988, he starred in the first "Die Hard" film, which established him as a major action star. He went on to reprise his role as John McClane in four more "Die Hard" films, the last of which was released in 2013. Willis has also appeared in numerous other successful films, including "Pulp Fiction," "The Sixth Sense," and "Red."

In addition to acting, Bruce has also worked as a producer, with credits including the films "Armageddon," "The Whole Nine Yards," and "16 Blocks." He has also released several albums as a singer, with his music blending elements of blues, rock, and soul.

Just recently he has been diagnosed with a form of dementia called frontotemporal dementia, or FTD for short. I wish him well with his health problems and also a very Happy Birthday for today...
