AION – My Next Crypto Bet. Why and How I Vet a Crypto. Plus a side note about China social networking.

So why this one now you might be thinking. Well it was recommended to me by some people who pretty much have been spot on with enough calls it’s worth it for me to trust them again. It’s a small tight knight group of 20 people from various backgrounds all westerners, from professional traders some Ex-Wall Street, Hobby Traders such as myself, and a few others, I’m very truly humbled to be there. It has certainly made me a pretty penny investing in real crypto projects and avoiding the scam coins. It’s how I turn small amounts of Steem into tropical vacations.

Whenever a big call comes out for a long term choice I always do my own research before I send my money. Especially these days as crypto declines in market value in a state of fud that will probably last until the summer; is my guess. Unless you are an incredibly pro day trader that can stare at the screens, yes screens, all day than I am going to say be a long term trader till things pick up.

So Why AION Suddenly?

The first thing that matters to me is will it change my life for the better now or are they creating a problem that doesn’t exist and then claim to solve it? If it doesn’t matter to you it in anyway and you never heard such a problem was out there, it’s probably not, you might as well invest in windshield wipers for glasses. More money has been lost in investing in stupid ideas than in shit coins and I see a repeating of stupidity. Don’t be stupid!
Whenever I consider a big pick I fact check in order of what’s important to me. I know some will disagree and some will start doing this too. I always check the Team Member page first. I don’t need to recognize the names I only need to verify it’s a real person and can do what the position says they do in the details.

I Check Their Team Members on LinkedIn

If it’s a real team a link of the members to their official LinkedIn account should be right there under their picture, or in the least another official website that confirms peoples identity. LinkedIn is first choice for the obvious reasons for current users. If the member profiles don’t have links proving the team actually exists then I don’t even care what it offers to do, it most likely won’t happen.

I will watch their promo video and read their website next to see if it POPS and catches my attention in a way that could make life easier for many. So how does AION fit in.

I think that means they are trying to make it so other blockchains can interact with each other or in the least work together. Kind of like a chain to rule them all. It is an incredibly tall order no doubt but I imagine it could be done though I won’t pretend to know how they do it. I really don’t care, just do it!!

It’s far from its all time high; it crashed just like every other crypto did a couple months ago. I think we are seeing a new crypto world evolve before our eyes. This coin has real world use and when so many of the shit coins fail only the best remain and will be worth so much more than it is now or ever has been, I guess.

AION is a highly intelligent team of computer nerds that in all probability have the brain power to do what they are setting out to do. I’d like to add they have three female engineers way more than most crypto projects. This brings diversity to the team, a good thing when you it’s such a big project.

Then I read the white paper, maybe twice, well some parts several times. Decide if they really plan to do what the hype claims. Does their plan change the world for a significant number of crypto believers or not?

Does it attract new money, legitimately or just hype it?

I’m not going to pretend to be in the know… I will be in the ”know” or I will save my money. Will you? Does it have a lot of competition? Like gambling tokens can be risky as many new gambling with crypto services have been sprouting up.

Honestly there are many shit coins out there, I’ve bought em, you’ve bought em, The question is Why? Most likely you FOMO’d ”Fear Of Missing Out” you may have spent your rent hoping, dreaming, you’d double on a hot ICO or token. I’ve been there, I’d dare any serious trader to argue it. We’ve all get it at some point.

Side note about Chinese social media is that Chinese law prevent any single WeChat (is an all in one app for banking, taxi, shopping, chatting, sharing vieos, photos, video calls and more) group from having more than 500 people in it. Not even super stars are allowed, it’s actually because of them there is a law. The is basically to prevent the rampant spread of rumors and false gossip, unfortunately truth and reality is caught up in it. So any group with 500 people is not as crazy as some of those discord shill groups with 10’s of thousands of voices, many bots.
