Con ágiles movimientos, vuelan muy cerca de la playa y se les puede ver caer al agua en búsqueda de un pez o bien en la orilla procurando algún alimento.

Es hermoso verlas volar de tan cerca, aunque para fotografiarlas hay que igualar su velocidad para obtener buenas capturas, también se les puede ver en tierra y siempre alertas a todo el movimiento en su entorno, por lo que su tiempo allí no es prolongado.

A primera vista pensé que eran gaviotas, pero luego observe que son de gran tamaño y diferente color, esto genero interés y me llevo a investigar un poco a esta hermosa ave y encontré que es otra especie llamada Pardela.

Hoy compartiré algunas imágenes capturadas el verano de este año durante mi visita a la playa de Tavira, Portugal.

It is beautiful to see them fly so close, although to photograph them you have to match their speed to get good catches, you can also see them on land and always alert to all the movement in their environment, so their time there is not prolonged.

At first sight I thought they were seagulls, but then I noticed that they are of great size and different color, this generated interest and took me to investigate a little to this beautiful bird and I found that it is another species called Shearwater.
