It’s been too long since Brian and I have connected, we met in Winnipeg around the year 2,000 when all the computers in the world were about to be shut down because of the 2,000 bug. So after surviving a near catastrophic event, we bonded as friends with a distance between us.

Text comes in on iPhone

Well I really don’t need to write about it I’ll just show you a photo, cause that’s what I do.

Within hours of the incoming text I pick up Brian and his wonderful newlywed wife Lisa and we share in conversation on our ride in a very sunny Winnipeg summer day. For me it was wonderful just to be be in that moment and know the company I was with were in the same spirit.

We caught up with our selves at breakfast through conversation and laughter then drove nearby to the Manitoba Museum of Human Rights in the Forks district of our city.

Once inside we separated and this is what I captured.
