M/s. Nasim Pharmacy, Parbatipur

1. Location and Background:
M/s. Nasim Pharmacy is located beside Advocate Khatibur Rahman Road in our small town, right near the road that leads to Kholahati. It’s not part of any big pharmacy chain, it’s a local, independent pharmacy that has been serving our community for quite a few years. The pharmacy always has a good number of customers, and within a short time, it has managed to earn people’s trust and become one of the most reliable places for medicines in this area.
2. Size and Layout:
The pharmacy is quite small but very neat and well-arranged. There’s only a little space for customers to stand in front of the counter, while the other side of the shop is filled with rows of medicines. It’s surprising how many types of medicines they manage to store in such a small place! They even keep some baby care products, which I personally liked. Inside, there’s also a small storage room where they keep extra stock of medicines.
3. Product Variety :
They sell a wide range of local pharmaceutical products. Along with prescription medicines, they also have plenty of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, which are especially helpful for those who are not financially able to pay doctor fees. Besides that, they keep health supplements, personal care, and skincare products. In short, a customer can find almost everything they need in one place.
4. Pricing and Discounts:
The medicine prices here are quite affordable compared to many other pharmacies. My father and I often buy medicines from this shop. They usually give us a small discount on most of the medicines, which I really appreciate. Because of their fair pricing and honesty, the shop always has a steady flow of customers.
5. Quality and Authenticity:
All the medicines they sell come from reputed and trusted companies. I have never seen them selling expired or poor-quality medicines. They store everything properly in cool, dry conditions. Even in their limited space, they manage everything so well, that’s why I always feel safe buying medicines from them.
6. Customer Service:
The pharmacists here are young, polite, and very friendly. I really like their behavior. Whenever I ask about a medicine, they explain it to me patiently. Sometimes they even give advice about the proper use of medicines and possible side effects. They are also honest about pricing and never overcharge customers.
7. Facilities and Amenities:
There’s a small space in front of the pharmacy where customers can stand while waiting, but there’s no parking area since it’s right beside the main road.
The pharmacy isn’t open 24 hours; usually, it opens around 9–10 in the morning and closes before midnight. But during the open hours, there are always customers inside.
They mostly accept cash payments, I haven’t seen an online payment system there yet. However, if you’re buying expensive medicines, they might accept mobile payment with prior permission. There are also CCTV cameras installed, which adds to the security.
8. Hygiene and Safety:
The pharmacy is always clean and tidy. The shelves are well-organized and packed with medicines that are clearly labeled with manufacturing and expiry dates. Since the shop is filled with medicines, there’s hardly any chance for dust or dirt to accumulate. Everything looks fresh and well-maintained.
9. Personal Experience:
I’ve been buying medicines from Messrs. Nasim Pharmacy for a long time, just like my father. Over the years, I’ve built a friendly connection with them. Even if a particular medicine isn’t available, they help by bringing it from another pharmacy. Their caring attitude really touched me. I honestly believe that even if I asked them for medicines on credit, they wouldn’t refuse me. For me, this is one of the most important and trustworthy pharmacies in our town.
