oh boy, Earnin votes the hard way. I have a Mercedes e320 and the window fuses keep blowing. one is under the back seat. Sometimes the fuse is not blown but needs the fuse removed and reinserted while the car is on. I bet it happens a lot .
You know, chasing trons (electrons) was my specialty. It can be tricky though. I wish I can tell you the specific part that is going bad. What you have is an intermittent failure. It is only broken sometimes and then gets reset. It is much easier to fix a hard failure.
It could be the window motor is sticky or going bad and drawing too much current which is causing the fuse to blow. It could also be a bad connection. Reinserting a fuse could be triggering a reset which may not be related. The only reason a fuse blows is because too much power is being used. I suspect the window motor is going bad. Is the fuse burning out when a particular window is being operated? It could also be a faulty window switch. Does it happen when only a certain switch is used?
