When I first started my first website, it was a poker/gambling site, this was pretty much to support the local poker scene from where I was from. I actually played poker and even ran local tournaments in pubs and clubs, the site was really a reference point for people to find out what's on, chat and arrange online games and tournaments. The hosting back then was a terrible company, I won't mention any names, but they charged a fortune per month with little or no support. So the only option was to move servers.

I stayed with this company, up until recently, however, during the 8 or 9 years I have been with them, they were bought out no less than 3 times, in fact a bigger company took them over, and then a bigger company took that one over. Then the trouble began... I got hacked via their servers, they told me it was my fault... It wasn't! Their prices went up and my bandwith went down. It was a REAL nightmare. In the end I had no choice but to move both my poker site and my business site to somewhere new.
