What if This REALLY Happened!
A World without Internet!
I was inspired to write this short blog after yesterday morning, my usually great internet connection kept going off!
It wasn't too bad, it was just dropping out for a few minutes at a time, but a little frustrating when you are trying to get work done.
So, if all of a sudden, the internet broke! I mean permanently, firstly as my business is wholly built on the internet this would immediately make me unemployed, and I would guess this would be the case for millions of people. But putting this aside, how would we all really cope!
The internet is an integral part of our lives, as well as running a business, I use the internet for looking up answers, whether it be for a medical reason IE symptoms, or just general knowledge, I do most of my shopping via the internet, I do my finances via the internet and of course their is my cryptocurrency interests, that would disappear overnight!
I am sure if the internet was to disappear, there would be chaos, havoc, riots and general discord, but I am sure we, the human race would adapt, after all there was life before the internet, and of course we would still have laptops, pcs, tablets, although most of us would have to invest in drives to add information, programs and games, or use USB sticks. We would still have gaming consoles, although a lot of the games I play are multi-player. (Bit boring wandering around with a gun and no other players to shoot!
I do suppose I have a major advantage as I was born in the era before such wonderful technology, in fact growing up, if I needed to make a call I had to go to a phone box. And I don't think it would be too bad being in an 'Internetless' world, maybe we would actually communicate more face to face.
