Not everyone has the time to manage their social media, nor the money to hire someone to look after. However, it is important to keep an active presence. By daily posting, you can keep that presence alive and this can have a positive impact on your business.

Which Social Media Accounts To Post To.
We recommend that you use what we call the BIG 4. These are Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Google+
If you are short of time, what you can do is use a software suite such as Hootsuite, which allows you to post to all of them at the same time.
Connect Twitter with Facebook to Save Time
A nifty little trick is to connect Twitter to your Facebook account, this is a set and forget operation, once your Twitter account has been connected, everything you post on Facebook is automatically tweeted out. However, we do recommend that you login and check on your Twitter account from time to time, respond to any messages (that are not spam.) and interact with others with the same interests or interest in your business.
Scheduling Ahead
If you have a spare hour each week, why not schedule your entire posts for the week or if possible even longer, doing all at once will save you some time, the key is to maximise the spare time you have to take care of as much of your daily posting in one go. Once you get into a routine it becomes quite easy to manage.

There really is no secret to successfully managing your social media, it is just a matter of being disciplined to ensure that you keep regular updates and stick to it. And the more you do it, just like anything else, then the easier it becomes.
