Cap Farming FO76

Fallout 76 - Farming for Caps.

Fallout 76 relies heavily on Nuka Cola caps as a form of currency, so farming caps is a great way of building up your balance to buy those all important mods, armour and weapons.

Unfortunately you can only get 200 caps at specific vendors (and some are linked so once you have sold your gear that's it.)

Knowing which vendors have money, (They refresh every day, so you can really only do this once every 24 hours.) and making a journey around these vendors will earn you 1000-1400 caps per day, having said that, my system yields a little more.

Firstly I have my C.A.M.P set up near New Gad, just below Springfield. This is important for travelling and cap farming and you will understand why shortly. (As well as it being central too!)

My first port of call is to head north to the nearby town of Springfield, here are plenty of Super Mutants, killing them yields caps as well as molotovs and guns. Collect all of these (without becoming overencumbered) and then it is a fast travel for 6 caps to Whitespring Golf Club. Ensure you have your power armour on, and a weapon to kill ghouls, I tend to use my Ghoul Slayers Hook (+30% Damage to Ghouls), you should then head into the building, collect all the golf skirts and outfits (These are worth a whopping 26 caps each!) and kill all the ghouls, collecting weapons, caps etc.) Once done head on over to Whitespring itself, once inside scrap and store your junk and sell your weapons, apparel etc to one of the traders, to gain 200 caps. At this point you may want to create some bulk junk to sell.

Next stop, around the corner to Whitespring Bunker, head inside and sell any more leftover weapons you may have as well as golf apparel. another 200 Caps! At this point pick up any additional junk lying around to sell to the next vendor.

Next stop, fast travel to F&G Station, which is south, go around the back and pick up everything you can from the caravan and surrounding vicinity, then head inside to sell your stuff to the vendor, you also have access to your stash in here in case you need to grab more saleable items. (Another 200 Caps!)

Next stop, Watoga Station, this is east of F&G and if you fast travel will cost 22 caps (worth it!). Once again, sell all the spare gear and junk you have. You will also find a Tinkers Bench here, so use it to make more bulk junk to sell. Another 200 caps! from this vendor!. (Note, this is also linked to Graham, so if you sell here, he won't have any caps and vice-versa.)

Now, head into Watoga to the Watoga Shopping Plaza, go around the shop pick up all the junk to sell, you may want to check the surrounding areas too. Once you have enough stuff, flog it for another 200 Caps!

Next stop, is Ferry's Crossing. Which is north of Watoga. Head over to the building opposite, pick up the black-powder rifle etc, unlock the safe and then head out to kill the enemies, collect all the weapons and armour they drop, then head into the centre, (You will find a hole in the wall at the start of the street) once through the building, turn left and head up the alleyway to meet the next vendor. Note: There are a LOT of enemies round here, kill and loot them to sell to the vendor as by now you will be getting short of stuff. (Another 200 Caps!)

Now fast travel back to your camp, stash all your junk, fix your armour etc and it should be only 10 caps to your final destination Flatwoods, (You can travel to Vault 76 for free and then fast travel for 10 caps too, if your camp is further away.) Flog all your unwanted gear and junk and that is another 200 caps!

Repeat this on a daily basis to earn caps and build up your balance.
