Cookies from Fire and Blood - Game of Thrones - Winter is coming V.1 - Dragons and the Wall

The books, everyone knows spells winter is coming faster than a frozen dragon can take down the wall.
Spoilers ahead, if you do not want to hear what I think I learned: PLEASE DO NOT READ MORE.
Ok in George RR Martin's new prequel "Fire and Blood" there is a cool history of the Targaryans in the 300 years prior to the story in Game of Thrones starting (you know what I mean).
The first interesting theory that I got out of it is that, yes you guessed it: Dragons cannot fly over the wall. The Queen Alysanne was unable to get her dragon to fly north of the wall when she was visiting Castle Black. The wall is so powerful to keep dragons (Fire) from moving north (ice). So no matter what HBO says, in the books, I do not think that Dragons will be going north anytime soon (in hopefully the winds of winter). Unless of course the horn of winter takes the wall down, which I think it will and then all bets are off.

Always a hard choice to make, Read the book, and be hollywood disappointed, or watch the show, enjoy it if it is good, then read the books and see what they screwed up.
Agreed! Sometimes better to watch the show first so that you can be blown away at the detail in the big book too! If you like the books, check out fire and blood. It is wicked good!
