Eating in Melbourne: Little Ramen Bar
A few days ago I went to the CBD to have a meeting and decided to go to Little Ramen Bar on Little Bourke Street for a quick lunch. The restaurant is quite small but I managed to get the last table available. I have not been here in about three years and since then there have been many ramen places that have opened up. My first dining experience at Little Ramen Bar was positive but unfortunately I think this place can no longer compete with the new ones that have sprouted up.
Spicy Miso Ramen with egg
I decided to order the mild version of the spicy miso ramen. It was not spicy at all so I think I should have ordered a medium spice. There was only one piece of sliced pork and some mince a few slices of onion and cabbage. The egg was cold and I think they should have at least made sure it was room temperature. The broth was not as rich as I would have liked. It was still filling though.
Overall I don't think this is a top ramen place in Melbourne any more. However it still seems to be quite popular.
