Creating the Contemporary Chair exhibition at NGV (6 original photos)
I love going to the National Gallery of Victoria every few months to see the new exhibits and I enjoyed the Creating the Contemporary Chair exhibition which just opened on 17 March. It celebrates the acquisition of 35 new pieces of Australian and international craftsmanship.
The blue and white chair is 3D printed from recycled materials . It is called Endless chair.
Dirk Vander Kooij is the designer and maker
The one behind it is called Shadowy armchair. Tord BOONTJE is the designer and MOROSO, Udine is the manufacturer
Love the light shining through this chair
I am not sure how to sit on this one.
The rose chair is designed by Masanori Umeda
from Japan and manufactured by Pisa Edra from Italy
One of my favorite designs. You can change the arrangement of the seating and it reminds me of origami
Humorous shark chair
All photos taken with my Samsung Galaxy s5.
