Mimosa flower atau putri malu adalah tumbuhan jenis polong-polongan yang daunnya akan menutup pada saat di sentuh untuk melindungi diri dari hewan pemakan tumbuhan .batang putri malu berduri dan bereaksi sangat cepat saat di sentuh daunnya menutup bersifat sementara selelah beberapa menit akan pulih kembali seperti semula.
