Your article is well-written and makes several excellent points, especially about how people can treat Steemit as a risk-free way of learning the ins and outs of how to write for an audience. The potential for reward with no particular downside is unique among social media platforms.
However, there isn't anything in the entire article that explains how the inequality of Steemit is a good thing. You said it's the same inequality as everywhere, which is absolutely true. That doesn't make it good.
You actually cited a few reasons why inequality is bad, and then titled the post "why inequality is good."
I find that odd.
The concept I failed to tie in here is basically that inequality exists in a natural state, and a natural state is necessary in order to conduct good research and self improvement. The worst risk factors have been removed, but you still have to take the training wheels off the bike.
Perhaps too much of a stretch?
